Local, national and international artists representing 37 states and 3 countries will exhibit their work at the 2017 Columbus Arts Festival produced by the Greater Columbus Arts Council, June 9, 10 and 11 at the Columbus, OH downtown riverfront.
Among those artists returning this year are 8 of the 2016 award winners including: Peter Brown (leather), James Carter (painting), Hannah Clark (painting), Ray Jones (wood), Adam Kaser (glass), Carol Martin (jewelry), Kate Morgan (2D mixed media), and Lucie Shearer (painting).
Over fifty-five artists from our home state of Ohio will participate this year. In addition to Kaser, Morgan and Schearer, central Ohio artists include: Jayne Alison (2D mixed media), Claudia Carreon (jewelry), Heidi Clous (jewelry), Ila Catherine Hofacker (2D mixed media), Hong Mao (painting), Kim McClelland (2D mixed media), Paul Palnik (printmaking), Rebecca Rea (ceramics), J.J. Reichert (fiber), Alissa Renzetti (3D mixed media), Mary Williams (fiber), and Zhicheng Yang (jewelry).
Festival Hours: Friday, June 9 from 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., Saturday, June 10 from 10 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. and Sunday, June 11 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Please note: on Friday and Saturday artist booths close at 9 p.m.)
